Meet The Staff
I chose dentistry because I love working with people!
I am compassionate and enjoy helping people overcome their fear of going to the dentist. I love oral surgery, lab work and forensic dentistry. I enjoy large restorative cases and have a great sense of personal pride seeing my patients through these large cases. The look on their face is priceless when they have faced their dental fears and are now able to smile with confidence!
I have lived and worked in the Lake Stevens community for well over 30 years. I consider my patients and co-workers more than that, I consider them friends!
When I am not at the office I enjoy spending time with my husband and four-year old daughter. Together we find great pleasure in riding motorcycles, snowmobiling and camping. I also love yoga, traveling and antiques.
I grew up in Perris, California and moved to Washington in 2014. I was originally a Training Coordinator for a therapy company, but in 2023 I started in the dental field with Dr. Chung Tsen and the LVD team. I truly can say that I look forward to coming into work every day and being able to learn more about the dental world because I have the opportunity to work with our awesome team. I love being able to interact with our patients and help make them feel even just a little more confident and relaxed when it comes to going to the dentist.
I am currently in college, but I will graduate end of fall 2024! When I am not in the office and have time, I enjoy playing video games, board/card games, and watching my latest anime or tv series with my husband. And, of course, riding horses. I have been working with horses since I was about 7 years old and started competing them in 2016.
Hello, my name is Samantha, I was born in Akron, Ohio and moved to Washington in 2008. I have been in Dentistry since 2015. One of my favorite dental procedures is large esthetic cases and seeing patient’s smile of confidence when we are done. I do my best to ensure our patients feel comfortable and answer any questions they may ask about. I enjoy working as a dental assistant alongside the best dental team I have ever met. Our team is more than co-workers, we are family.
When not at the office I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my son Kyler! We love being outdoors fishing, hunting, camping, anything! I also enjoy cooking and painting when it’s too wet or cold to be outdoors.
A little about me I Graduated from Lake Stevens High School and went to Sno-Isle Tech Skills Center my senior year for my dental assisting education. During the class, we were able to as highschoolers get a hands-on look into an amazing career field, as well as go out into internships which I did here at Lakeview Dental to get real experience. Even as a kid I have always loved dentistry and aspired to become a dentist one day, and when I was provided with the opportunity to work as an assistant I jumped on the offer.
I love the outdoors anytime I can get out I will, whether it’s hiking, dirt biking, or camping. On top of that, I’ve lived here in Washington my whole life, and it rains, meaning not always will I be able to go out, so some other hobbies I have are gaming, going to the gym, or visiting with friends.
Overall, I love dentistry because I get to see something different every day, help people feel better about themselves and provide them with the comfort to show their smile
Hello my name is Kristin, and I was born and raised in Lynnwood, Washington. Recently my Husband and I moved to Everett, Washington in 2020. I chose Dentistry because I wanted to be a part of creating healthy, strong and confident smiles!
I’ve been in Dentistry since 2013! I was originally a Pediatric Dental Assistant for 7 years, as I was continuing my education on becoming a Dental Hygienist. I attended Seattle Central College and graduated from their Dental Hygiene Program in September 2020. October 2020 I was given the opportunity to work with the LVD team and it has been an absolute dream! Not only Dr. Tsen & Dr. Chan as well as the entire staff but, all of their patients are just amazing to work with! I am extremely blessed to work with such an amazing and caring team when it comes to our patients and their overall health.
Outside of the dental office my passions are working with and giving back to my community as much as I can. I am a huge fan of sports and love cheering on our Seattle teams. I enjoy being outdoors either hiking, camping, attending concerts or floating on a river. I love trying new foods and exploring new places and taking weekend trips or drives. I enjoy traveling and exploring new states or countries as I enjoy learning the history behind them. Family and friends mean everything to me as I am consistently with them. Furthermost, I love education and learning new things to better myself and my community. As I work full-time with LVD I am currently in Eastern Washington University’s Masters of Public Health Program (MPH) full-time, as I am hoping to graduate in June 2023! I am beyond thrilled to not only continue to give back to my community but also work with and get to know each and everyone of you at LVD!
“I enjoy working alongside the best dental team I’ve ever met! Everyone at LVD is so kind and welcoming. I feel right at home whenever I walk through the door. On my free time I love crocheting, watching tv shows, and hanging out with friends/family.
Two dental tips: floss your teeth daily for optimal gum health and limit the amount of sticky/acidic foods to prevent cavities. Foods that stick to your teeth (and stay there) are more susceptible to cavities.”
Doug graduated in 2000 from University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. For his patients, he believes in an empowering quote when it comes to healthcare: “Believe you can, and you’re halfway there.” – Theodore Roosevelt. During his free time, he enjoy time with family, learning about others, and traveling.
